As an Infor channel partner, RSVP built its quality control software on top of Infor’s development framework, which will ease integration with the company’s enterprise application suite.
Infor is strengthening its enterprise software suite with a quality management application it has acquired from its channel partner, RSVP Business Systems.
RSVP’s Quality Control Solution (QCS) helps manufacturers track quality management throughout the daily workflow of receiving materials, manufacturing goods, and shipping products, Infor said.
According to Infor, the QCS software gives manufacturers support for quality incidents, change management, responses to audit findings, machine and maintenance issues, safety, training, and opportunities for continuous improvement processes. Additional modules help with regulatory compliance, the control of non-conforming materials, and the ability to initiate corrective action activities.
QCS was built on Infor’s Mongoose development framework; this will enable seamless integration with the Infor10 ERP Business system (also known as SyteLine) and other Infor applications. Infor intends to deliver significant product enhancements to QCS as well as integrate the application with a number of core Infor products, the company said.
Customers will benefit from using a single vendor to meet their ERP and quality management needs, the company said. In addition, a direct relationship with Infor promises to reduce critical response time and streamline access to product support.
