Maximizer Software releases a cloud CRM offering that shares the data model of its on-premises offering, joining a growing market of on-demand CRM providers.
Hoping to grab its slice of the increasingly lucrative market for cloud-based customer relationship management software, CRM provider Maximizer Software this week announced Maximizer CRM Live, the on-demand version of its flagship offering.
Maximizer CRM Live features a full suite of customer relationship management capabilities, including sales and marketing automation, contact management, and customer support, the company said in a statement. The system, it said, “consolidates all contacts, action items, business communications, forecasts, reports, and results into one central hub.” Through opportunity dashboards, managers can assess their sales team’s performance, while e-mail alerts notify team members of changes to opportunities.
The new cloud CRM system is built on the same data model as the company’s on-premises offering, giving customers “the choice and flexibility to migrate from one deployment option to another as…business requirements change,” the company said, “with minimal technical requirements and without any data loss.”
Maximizer CRM Live is sold on a per-user basis, with deployments of fewer than five users priced at $49 per month. Companies with more than five users accessing the on-demand CRM system incur a $39 monthly charge per user.
The base plan offers 1 GB of database storage. Increasing that to 5 GB will cost a customer $69 per month; 10 GB of database storage costs $129 each month. Users can also purchase upgrade packages to increase the allowed number of incoming and outgoing e-mails sent through the CRM system.
CRM software makers have made their product offering something of a test bed for the notion of cloud-based software. ERP vendors including Microsoft, SAP, and Oracle have dabbled in cloud-based software via CRM, swelling the market along the way. On-demand CRM trailblazer Salesforce.com boasts more than $1 billion in annual revenue.
